Duration & Requirements
The program extends over three (3) semesters, of which
- the first two semesters the students attend courses, workshops, seminars and any other educational and research activities of the MEd. During the 1st semester (winter) they attend 4 mandatory courses, while during the 2nd semester (spring) they attend 4 selective courses out of the up to 9 selective courses offered.
- the third semester is dedicated either to the preparation and presentation of the master thesis either to attending 3 mandatory selective special courses.
To obtain the MEd degree it is required:
a) the attendance and successful examination in eight (8) courses (winter and spring semester) and
b) the preparation and presentation of master thesis (third semester) or the successful examination in the 3 special mandatory selective courses.
To obtain the MEd degree a total of ninety (90) credits (ECTS) are required. Credits are allocated as follows: 30 ECTS to the courses of the first semester, 30 ECTS to the courses of the second semester and 30 ECTS to the graduate research thesis or the special courses undertaken during the third semester.
